The idea

Explore resource pressure, social power and survival through a strategy RPG in a fictional correctional facility.

The connection

The creative work lies in the rule system: scarcity changes choices, factions change consequences and the environment makes those systems understandable through play.

System design

The following structure makes the project concept inspectable and defines the implementation to demonstrate.

01A persistent character and resource state stores the player's situation.
02Faction and encounter rules turn choices into costs, opportunities and consequences.
03A top-down interface exposes the information needed for the next decision.

What would prove it

Use a short playable scenario with competing strategies. Observe whether new players can explain why their position improved or deteriorated and whether more than one approach can succeed.

The next complete milestone

The next milestone is a complete beginning-to-end scenario with reliable save/load, readable consequences and a tested failure/retry loop. Additional content should follow evidence that the core decisions remain interesting over repeated play.

Project record

A top-down strategy RPG set inside the fictional Calder Ridge correctional facility — resource pressure, factional politics and survival mechanics, playable now as a live prototype.
